Coz' its Me-Ki-Ko!!

Hi,
Well, for starters..i was really busy yesterday..so couldn't find time to write..Anyways we had a party last night and so a lot of cooking happened yesterday in our kitchen... the shahi paneer and the dips and the salads and the fajitas.

I was in-charge of the Mexican Fajitas..which turned out to be aa-mayy-zzzing. We had ordered snacks already in case i messed up..but I dint...and we cleared the whole damn plate..

About the fajitas now, its nothing but a roll of Indian bread filled with white sauce and red sauce made from onion, tomatoes and paneer..

Attaching pics as usual

Going the Marathi way!!

My second dish for the day was a real battle what with cutting, and boiling and frying all going on side by side. Anyways it turned out to better than imagined, this one I cooked for my roomies as well..so it was for 3 people roughly..Its an easy to make Pav bhaji..nothing major or fancy.

Was a little time consuming in terms of cutting a whole lot of vegetables and stuff.. but it turned out to be really nice in the end so ws fun.

P.S.- After eating this, I don't think I will have butter for another month!!!

Its not the best looking bhaji...but it covered up with the way it tasted..
So I am happy :)

Cheers..

The salad that never was...

Hi,
so i decided to do two dishes today...The first one was a Japanese quinoa salad. Its a wonderful salad made with quinoa seeds and some simple and easy to find ingredients..
If only world was that simple, I ended up Indianising the whole thing and well...working with jugaad.. quinoa was replaced by chick peas, sesame oil with olive oil, and ingredients like "nori", " "sesame seeds" etc couldn't make it to the list..neways ..i ended up doing pretty good wat wid a dressing sauce and all to go wid the salad. It did not taste as good as i would hv liked it to, but nevertheless..it was bearable..

P.S.- next blog for the next dish!! :)

Bring it on..!!!

Well this one was a little more time consuming...cooked Chinese egg and cauliflower rice.
Yeah i had to add cauliflower at the last minute instead of mushrooms.. dint find mushrooms in any shops near me...oh it took more time than i had imagined..but it was rewarding..the pictures are good atleast..

P.S. i cant write recipes..but can click a picture of the ingredients.
